TINGITANE

Greetings Classy People,

Yakout and Imane, known as Tingitane, are two long-term friends motivated to experience a 100% women’s competition as a unique adventure through team number 605.
Tingitane draws its name from Morocco’s Roman past and native butterflies. It means transformation and unity.

Inspired by a vision of energy transition, they chose to be part of Rallye Aicha Des Gazelles as the first 100% electric Moroccan team through the e-innovation category.

Yakout and Imane, similar to many Moroccan girls of the 90s, grew up looking up to RALLYE AICHA DES GAZELLES.
Rallye Aicha Des Gazelles was a revolution within the world of events in 1990. The concept is to group national and international women aged between 18 and 71 in the Moroccan desert.

Team Tingitane was determined to figure out the Rallye Aicha Des Gazelles 2024, so they started to practice years before.
Their first experience was to drive offroad in the south of Morocco through dunes and to take the challenge of the old school navigation with just paper maps.

Authentic and pleasant. Morocco is a well-served country with small roads between villages and remarkable highways between cities. Taking their training seriously, team Tingitane scheduled several road trips to feel ready for the prominent day.

Starting their campaign on social media, Moroccans are welcoming Tingitane with great enthusiasm.
Yakout and Imane receive support from people willing to see them holding the Moroccan flag and sponsors believing in their strength up to the challenge.

Tingitane feelings from previous rallies were excitement at the beginning, passion for exploration during the journey, and pride in fulfilling a lifetime adventure at the end. Therefore, their expectations from Rallye Aicha Des Gazelles 2024 are no less!
They are choosing to drive a 4×4 prototype RAV4 Toyota, 100% electric, to combine sensation and comfort.

Beyond raising a large Moroccan flag in the competition, Tingitane contributes to elevating Moroccan social life by financing an incredible association for the Safeguarding and Protection of the Deaf in Agadir (ASPS Agadir).
ASPS provides inclusive and adapted pedagogy from kindergarten to High School, helping people to integrate effortlessly into social environments.

TAZA HOSTS MAROC FASHION WEEK

TAZA has taken center stage as the host of Maroc Fashion Week , catching everyone off guard. When fashion and Morocco are mentioned together, almost everyone’s mind races straight to Marrakech. If a fashion event skips Marrakech, the next guesses are always Casablanca, Tangier, or Rabat. Other cities rarely spark instant associations with the world of fashion. Taza's decision was made by Hind Joudar , the founder of Maroc Fashion Week, who wished to honor traditional dress in particular. We all know that Hind Joudar is one of the strongest pillars of Morocco's fashion industry. She embraced her older sister's love for the Caftan by elevating it during fashion shows in Europe. Through events, conferences, and creative initiatives, Hind dedicated her time and personal funds to conducting an in-depth historical study regarding traditional clothing in general and Moroccan traditional clothing, in particular, especially the Caftan. Taza, one of the most significant cities, is ...
